Pirelli chooses the same tyres as when Verstappen won at Silverstone
In addition to Silverstone and Suzuka, Spa-Francorchamps is also seen as a circuit where the tyres wear out a lot. At Silverstone things went wrong at Mercedes on the softer compounds of Pirelli, which will also be taken to the GP of Belgium. The second Grand Prix at Silverstone was a great spectacle. After broken tyres at the UK Grand Prix, even more spectacle was expected for the second race, when Pirelli opted for a softer set of tyres. Max Verstappen was able to win the race on that set, where a title race suddenly seemed to become exciting again.
