Ferrari and McLaren set to appeal Racing Point F1 verdict

Ferrari and McLaren are the first Formula 1 teams to have announced an intention to appeal the FIA’s ruling against Racing Point over its brake ducts design. Check out the Crash F1 YouTube channel - CLICK HERE In a lengthy verdict issued on Friday morning, the FIA stewards declared Racing Points brake ducts had not been designed themselves, deducting the Silverstone-based outfit 15 constructors’ championship points and handing the team a 400,000 fine. But the FIA’s decision to allow Racing Point to continue to use the brake ducts in question for the remainder of the season has triggered an angry response from rival teams, who believe a bigger penalty should have been handed out for...
