Verdict on protest Renault against Racing Point probably on Friday
Wednesday afternoon delegates from Racing Point, Renault and also Mercedes had to report to the stewards for a hearing on the RP20. Whether or not the 2020 car of Racing Point is illegal is not yet known. The meeting reportedly ended in about 2.5 hours. It's not expected that there'll be a statement from the FIA contest leadership today. The usually well imported journalist Albert Fabrega reports that for Friday's first free practice session at Silverstone a statement will be made by the international motorsport federation.
