Singapore keeping open dialogue over 2020 grand prix

Organisers of Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix say they are keeping an “open dialogue” with championship officials regarding its 2020 event. The coronavirus pandemic has caused seven of the opening 10 grands prix to be postponed, with three others – Australia, Monaco and France – cancelled altogether. Formula 1 has outlined its intention to begin the 2020 season in Austria on July 5 – with the ambition of running two races – followed by a round in Britain later in the month. It hopes to hold further events in Europe before travelling to Eurasia and Asia, America, and then finishing in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi in December.
