Haas confirms: Employees sent on leave

A new Formula 1 team has decided to send a large number of employees on leave. After McLaren, Williams, Renault and Racing Point, Haas has also decided to send their staff home. Formula 1 itself is already at a standstill, because no work is allowed on the cars. Haas has now also decided to temporarily stop all work. A spokesman of the American team has confirmed to Motorsport.com that a majority of the British staff has been sent on leave as of April 1st and that the important staff members have received salary cuts. Haas is taking all these measures to stay financially healthy. Haas' team boss, Guenther Steiner, had already indicated that it will be difficult to survive. Read more...
