Charles Leclerc selected for Ferrari's Pirelli tyre test

Charles Leclerc will be carrying out the 18 inch tyre test on behalf of Pirelli, as Ferrari carry out the first official tyre test of 2020. Pirelli have confirmed that Charles Leclerc will be carrying out the first testing duties of 2020, as the Monegasque will be driving a mule Ferrari for the initial 18 inch tyre test of the year. With 18 inch tyres on the way for 2021, a proper testing programme for the new wheels and tyres will be conducted over the course of this year. All the teams will be given the chance to participate, with Ferrari carrying out the initial test this weekend at Jerez.
