Verstappen: The future is not just about Charles and myself

Max Verstappen believes that Formula 1's next generation of drivers is in good shape for the future as the young guns rise up to the old guard this season which augurs well for the sport at the highest level. Although 2019 was initially billed as a Lewis Hamilton versus Sebastian Vettel battle, the season is ending with 22-year-olds Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc as proper contenders. In fact, they have emerged as the apparent heirs to the throne of two drivers who between them have won nine of the past ten world titles.
