VIDEO: Hamilton, Verstappen collide at Mexican GP race start

Lewis Hamilton dropped out of a potentially title-winning position at the start of the Mexican Grand Prix after making contact with Max Verstappen. Hamilton started third in Mexico, a position good enough to seal world title number six if team-mate Valtteri Bottas finishes outside the points. Article continues under video However, the Brit had to take evasive action to the grass to avoid contact with Sebastian Vettel off the line, which gave Verstappen a gap to jump into as he looked to undo the damage done by a grid penalty which robbed him of pole position. Hamilton dropped to fifth behind a fast-starting Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz, while Verstappen tumbled further down the order....
