Horner: Albon has done a super job so far

Ever improving rookie Alex Albon appears to be in pole position to remain at Red Bull for the 2020 Formula 1 season, with indications being that he is ticking all right boxes as he uses the run down to the end of the season to state his case to remain Max Verstappen's teammate. After Suzuka, Helmut Marko said the rookie is 'getting better', after taking over from Pierre Gasly five races ago but the no-nonsense driver boss added, 'He has some speed to gain in the race. He takes too long to get going.' Team boss Christian Horner, though, is more upbeat about Albon's chances of keeping the race seat for 2020 and said the 23-year-old did an 'amazing job' at Suzuka.
