Leclerc's form not the reason for Vettel's Russia snub

Sebastian Vettel has denied that Charles Leclerc's hot streak was a factor in his decision to ignore team orders at the Russian Grand Prix. Even though the Formula 1 roadshow has rolled on to Suzuka, the press are still keen for answers on the fall-out from the race in Sochi which Ferrari headlined for all the wrong reasons. Vettel's refusal to give the P1 position back to Leclerc in the early stages of the race caused the latest controversial episode involving the pair, but Vettel said he was not motivated by Leclerc's recent domination of the head-to-head stats.
