Verstappen backs Ferrari to be quick in Japan!

Max Verstappen has suggested that Ferrari could be the quickest car this weekend in Japan, due to their straight line speed giving them an advantage in the third sector of the Suzuka Circuit. Ferrari have been the quickest car since the summer break, taking all four pole positions and winning three races, following a front wing upgrade that saw them catch up to Mercedes. Verstappen said: “Ferrari will be very strong as they have so much power and will be fast on the straights but our car will be quick in the corners so hopefully we can gain some time there.” The Dutchman added that the Suzuka track is one of his favourites: “It’s a lot of fun to drive and...
