F1 reacts to interest from new teams
Liberty Media say "no serious discussions" have been held regarding new teams entering Formula 1 in 2021. A team based in Asia called Panthera has previously expressed an interest in entering F1, while another outfit linked to the Campos Junior Team did likewise on Thursday. Article continues under video A statement from Campos backers Monaco Increase Management (MIM) said: "From the first meeting with Chase Carey… it was clear that a Spanish team would fill the void left by the retirement of Fernando Alonso, and increase the interest of the Spanish fans."
