Sergio Perez reprimanded for Kevin Magnussen incident in FP2

Sergio Perez has received a reprimand for a close call with Kevin Magnussen during second practice for Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix. Perez and Magnussen were both setting up for a hot lap in the second session and as they went through Turn 21 the Haas driver brushed the outside wall as his Racing Point rival moved over. Both were summoned to the stewards and it was deemed that Perez was culpable, as he was handed his first reprimand of the campaign. “The Stewards determined that both drivers were setting up for a fast lap and were following the two Mercedes [in front],” read a statement issued by the stewards. “At the exit of Turn 21, Perez took a line slightly...
