Robert Kubica to leave Williams at the end of 2019

Robert Kubica has announced that he will be leaving Williams at the end of the 2019 Formula 1 season. Kubica returned to a full-time race seat with the squad this year, 18 months after he began exploring the possibility of a comeback, following the arm injury he sustained in 2011. Kubica has endured a difficult season and has been out-performed by rookie team-mate George Russell, though scored Williams’ sole 2019 point in Germany, which remains provisional pending Alfa Romeo’s upcoming appeal.
