The young German stormed off from pole and never looked back, finishing 12.5 seceonds clear of McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen. The performance also stands as Toro Rosso's single F1 triumph and the first of the two podiums achieved by the Faenza-based outfit in Grand Prix racing.
