Perez blames Pirelli wets for practice crash

Crashing out of FP1 in the wet at Monza, Sergio Perez says the blame belongs solely to Pirelli's ineffective wet tyres. Perez was one of three drivers to bring out the red flags in Friday's opening practice for the Italian Grand Prix. Running on the intermediate Pirellis at the time, the SportPesa Racing Point driver lost control on an out-lap. Perez spun, hitting the barriers and damaging the front and rear of his RP19.
