Ricciardo ‘the most upset he has felt in a while'

Daniel Ricciardo was down in the dumps after a shock Q1 exit in Hungary left him with a very difficult task ahead in Sunday's race. Traffic problems ensured the Aussie will be starting from P18 on the grid at the Hungaroring, with SportPesa Racing Point driver Sergio Perez critical of the Renault driver for trying to overtake him ahead of their final hot laps. Both drivers were compromised as a result and Ricciardo felt the team could have planned better to give Ricciardo the right amount of track space he needed to wind up for his final Q1 attempt.
