Hulkenberg: DNF will hurt even more tomorrow

German Grand Prix – Renault's Nico Hulkenberg crashed out of a strong points position during Sunday's race at Hockenheim. Nico Hulkenberg was one of the star performers of the early part of Sunday's race at Hockenheim. The Renault driver fought his way through into P2 through a canny tyre strategy and decisive on track overtakes that had him only behind Lewis Hamilton at one point of the race. However, having fallen down to P4 just before half distance, any chance of a maiden podium position disappeared when he made an error through the stadium section.
