British Grand Prix Qualifying: Bottas breaks British hearts

Valtteri Bottas broke British hearts as he topped the timing screens at the end of qualifying at Silverstone, beating local hero and Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton by six milliseconds ensuring an all silver front row for tomorrow's race. It was a well-timed pole position for the Finn, who got the best out of the W10 on a tricky afternoon with rain a constant threat. His best time of 1:25.093 was a mere 0.006 of a second down on the #77 car. Bottas summed up his tenth F1 pole position, 'It was very good again, it reminds you why you do this.
