Le Mans: LMP2 Season Recap
The 87th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (15-16 June) is also the Super Final of the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championship. After the race, the FIA Endurance LMP2 Teams Trophy will be awarded. For now, here's a video retrospective of the Super Season in this highly competitive class. Alpine Signatech Matmut's #36 Alpine A470-Gibson is the current leader in the provisional classification for the FIA Endurance LMP2 Teams Trophy, with 143 points. The French team boasts seven podium finishes in the FIA WEC. The car finished third in the class at the 2019 Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, thereby reclaiming the lead in the championship standings, but with only a four-points lead on...
