Vettel closes out Canadian GP practice fastest in Ferrari 1-2
Sebastian Vettel closed out practice for the Canadian Grand Prix fastest as Ferrari swept to another one-two finish, putting itself in good shape ahead of qualifying in Montreal. Ferrari managed to bounce back from a difficult opening practice session to take a one-two in FP2 on Friday at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, led by Charles Leclerc, with Vettel slotting into second place. Vettel took his turn at the head of the field in FP3 on Saturday afternoon, putting in his fastest lap on his third push lap on his set of Soft tyres to record a time of 1m10.843s. Leclerc was left to settle for second place after locking up on his third attempt at the end of the session, finishing 0.139 seconds...
