Ferrari & Mercedes may take part in ‘Drive to Survive’ series 2

Liberty Media and Formula 1 chief executive Chase Carey opened up about the decision to go ahead with the Netflix show ‘Drive to Survive’, as well as hinting that Ferrari and Mercedes could take part in the second series. Drive to Survive summed up the 2018 F1 season with the involvement of most of the teams giving insight and behind the scenes footage, other than Ferrari and Mercedes who opted out of. Carey stated that the Netflix show was part of Liberty Media’s idea to evolve F1 since they took over the sport from Bernie Ecclestone in 2017. Carey said to La Presse: "F1 had to evolve.
