Mercedes set to keep red star tribute to Niki Lauda

Mercedes added a red star to both of their cars for the Monaco Grand Prix in memory of Niki Lauda. Toto Wolff vows to make this change permanent to tribute a man who was key to the success of Mercedes in Formula 1. Lauda passed away on Monday after a long battle against ill health. The 70-year-old joined the team in 2012 and provided a vital role. The team painted their halo red for the weekend in Monaco and added a red star. Lewis Hamilton dedicated his win to the three-time world champion. From today, the W10 will carry a single red star on its livery.
