Readers of this site may have been met by the above message/s when visiting GrandPrix247.com from around 01h00 GMT (3 May) when the SSL security certificate expired – if so, please accept apologies for your inconvenience. This was not a malicious attack or hack, or a case of data being compromised. Instead, it was caused by the (https://) security certificate for the site, not auto-renewing before it expires, as it has done automatically in the past. The cause of this has been highlighted and remedied by our service providers SiteGround, who are investigating the cause of the problem. I am assured by them that we are ok for the next three months. By then I trust this will be sorted...
