Kimi Raikkonen disqualified from Azerbaijan qualifying results
Kimi Raikkonen has been disqualified from qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, with the Finnish racer starting from the pit lane as a result. In a chaotic qualifying session for the fourth race of the 2019 season, Raikkonen piloted his Alfa Romeo to ninth on the grid - a result that would later become eighth as a result of a 10-place grid penalty for team-mate Antonio Giovinazzi having exceeded his engine allocation. Following qualifying, it emerged that the Finn was under investigation for an alleged breach of Article 3.9.8 of the FIA Formula One Technical Regulations with the front wing flap of his car deflecting more than 5mm under a load of 60 N.
