Ferrari hands Barcelona test to Fuoco, rules out Schumacher

Ferrari has handed young Italian charger Antonio Fuoco a full day of running with the Scuderia at next month's post-Spanish Grand Prix in-season test. F1 teams must provide a testing opportunity to a driver with fewer than three Grand Prix starts to his name at two of the four days of in-season testing spread across Bahrain and Barcelona. That rule enticed Ferrari to run Mick Schumacher at Sakhir recently, but the German has been ruled out for the Barcelona test where Fuoco will be on duty alongside Charles Leclerc.
