Jaguar “went round in circles” to find race-winning performance

Rome victor Mitch Evans says Jaguar Racing “went round in circles” finding the performance that led to their maiden ABB FIA Formula E Championship win. Evans overtook DS Techeetah’s Andre Lotterer en route to his first FE win, having not shown leading pace for the majority of the season. After scoring a fourth-place finish in the Ad Diriyah opener, he scored just 24 points since and the team sat eighth in the standings. He said after the race that Jaguar had been going into the wrong set-up direction and that reverting back has helped Evans found a “sweet spot” again. “The car’s always been quick.
