Sainz fastest on day 6 of pre-season F1 testing
Carlos Sainz's time from the morning session remained fastest throughout the day as nobody came close to beating the best time so far in testing. Sergio Perez and Sebastian Vettel ended the day second and third quickest. McLaren also had a really productive day, with 130 laps on the Spaniard's their tally, as much as Kubica managed in the Williams FW42. Mercedes however were most productive team. As usual, the team shared duties between its two racing drivers, completing an impressive total of 175 laps. That'll be a happy evening for the team, after they openly admitted their lack of running on Tuesday meant a delay in evaluating their upgraded aero package. More to follow... Results...
