Car delays force Williams to call off shakedown
Williams has been forced to cancel their first filming day for the new FW42 due to delays in getting the car prepared for testing. The Grove-based team has confirmed the new car was due to hit the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit on Saturday for a filming day, teams often use the 100km limit permitted during these days to shakedown their cars which are run on specifically designated tyres. Plans were set aside in order to prioritise getting the maximum amount of running possible during the first test of the 2019 season which begins on Monday, February 18.
