Vettel: Ferrari's fate in our own hands

After missing out on the 2018 world championship, Sebastian Vettel believes that Ferrari holds control over their own destiny in 2019. The German slumped in form around the halfway point in last season's campaign but believes Ferrari and Vettel hit rough patches of form at the worst possible time in the battle against Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton, allowing a possibly weaker car to seize the initiative in the title fight.  Speaking at the Race of Champions event in Mexico, Vettel believes that the team knows the job it needs to do to recover and win but that any predictions at this stage would be far too premature.
