DEKRA drop Hulkenberg sponsorship as they are ‘rethinking priorities'

Nico Hulkenberg's long-standing sponsor DEKRA have decided against renewing their deal with him for 2019. Hulkenberg, who has been sponsored by the German company since 2004 as a go kart racer, will not have the DEKRA logo on his cap next year as they have decided against renewing their deal with him. In a statement sent to FormulaSpy, a DEKRA spokesperson explained that the decision was not taken as a result of any failure on Hulkenberg's part, but that they are looking elsewhere for opportunities: 'DEKRA has decided not to renew the partnership with Formula 1 driver Nico Hülkenberg for the 2019 season.
