Red Bull's Honda engine more advanced than McLaren's

Honda believe their current engine will not need huge amounts of adjusting improving the chances of a more reliable power unit for Red Bull. Honda are supplying Red Bull for the first time in 2019 after supplying their junior team Toro Rosso in 2018 and are hoping that with as few changes as possible they’ll avoid a repeat of their 2017 season with McLaren. McLaren are doing the opposite to switching from Honda to Renault who ended their partnership with Red Bull last year.
