Haas won't appeal Abu Dhabi ruling

Despite announcing their intent to appeal, Haas have announced they will not appeal the Abu Dhabi ruling that cleared Force India to race the VJM11. Haas, unhappy with the FIA's decision to awarded Force India ‘Column 1' prize money as they feel Racing Point is a new entity, lodged an appeal against Force India running the VJM11. The American outfit said that the car belonged to Sahara Force India, the team that went into administration earlier this year. The stewards, however, ruled that Racing Point Force India was permitted to run the car as they are a 'new' team who brought it from a defunct outfit.
