Pascal Wehrlein Set To Join Ferrari In Development Driver Role

Former DTM champion and Mercedes junior driver Pascal Wehrlein could be set to join Scuderia Ferrari as the team's Development role for next year. The German-Mauritian born driver was part of Mercedes' programme since 2012, before parting ways with them at the Singapore Grand Prix. Wehrlein raced in Formula 1 between 2016 and 2017 with Manor Racing and Sauber F1 Team, before he failed to secure a seat in 2018. Wehrlein won't be competing in F1 next year, despite having been linked to race with Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda for most of the season. Instead, he will join Mahindra Racing for the fifth season of the FIA Formula E series. But latest speculation reported by Motorsport Italia...
