Ocon and Magnussen DISQUALIFIED from United States GP
Esteban Ocon and Kevin Magnussen were disqualified from eighth and ninth place respectively at the United States Grand Prix after Force India and Haas were found guilty of fuel-flow infractions at the Circuit of the Americas, helping Renault's bid for fourth place in the constructors' championship. Ocon's car was found to have exceeded the maximum fuel mass flow on the opening lap at COTA, where the Frenchman dropped from sixth to P9. Ocon eventually recovered to put both Force India cars in the points, however the driver and team will be stripped of Ocon's four points. Magnussen was kicked out as his car consumed more than the permitted 105kg of fuel during the race. About today ????????...
