Pirelli mandate higher tyre pressures for US Grand Prix

Pirelli has revised their recommendations to teams regarding tyre pressures, meaning that teams will be forced to run higher rear tyre pressures for the United States Grand Prix. Due to a lack of running during Friday practice due to rain, Pirelli has changed their pressure limits because of the lack of data. Tyre pressures for slick tyres will rise from 20psi to 21.5psi. The rear tyre pressures for intermediate and wet tyres have increased to 10.5psi and 20.0psi respectively. The rain on Friday meant teams were disadvantaged and unable to gather long-run data for the race.
