'Schumacher on the path to F1'
Mick Schumacher is destined to end up in Formula 1 if he keeps delivering the kind of performances which have crowned him European Formula 3 champions, according to former grand prix winner Gerhard Berger. A surge in the second half of the F3 season secured glory for the son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher. Schumacher Jr has already been linked with a swift elevation to F1, with Toro Rosso's remaining free 2019 race seat potentially up for grabs.
