Bern replaces Zurich on Formula E calendar

Bern will replace Zurich as the host of the Swiss round on the 2018/19 Formula E calendar, and will be held two weeks later than the provisional date. Zurich was due to be replaced as the provisional date of June 8 clashed with other local events, so the city decided against hosting the 2019 event. The finalised calendar for the fifth season of FE was approved by the World Motor Sport Council at a meeting in Paris on Friday, confirming Bern as the replacement and approving the date of June 22. FE also confirmed that Swiss bank Julius Baer would remain as the title sponsor for the event.
