VIDEO: Hamilton's Japanese GP pole lap
Although much of the focus an attention was put onto Ferrari's backfired gamble that cost Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton still had to take advantage – and he did so in style. The Mercedes man stormed to an eighth pole position of 2018 and 80th – 80th! – of his career to bolster his title hopes further ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.
