Magnussen ‘nervous' about hypersofts
Kevin Magnussen admitted that the drivers were ..nervous.. about starting the Russian Grand Prix on the hypersoft tyres. In Singapore, last time out, the hypersoft runners struggled in the opening stint, and only one of the four midfield runners to start on that tyre scored points. 'Most people are a bit nervous about that, hopefully it will be the same for everyone,' Magnussen said after qualifying. 'It is a great day for the team, both cars in the top 10 so a good chance of scoring points tomorrow.
