Singapore GP: Preview - Haas

Gene Haas has been synonymous with disruption since 1988 when his machine tool company, Haas Automation, introduced the Haas VF-1. It was Haas Automation's very first vertical machining center, and it became an industry benchmark for affordable CNC technology when it was introduced with an unheard of introductory price of $49,500. It disrupted the status quo and, 30 years later, it remains disruptive because today's VF-1 still sells for under $50,000.
