Todt happy to expand F1 calendar to 23 races

FIA president Jean Todt says that he would have no issues with expanding the Formula One calendar beyond the 21 races it currently has. Speaking ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, Todt explained that he saw no issues in the calendar growing to 23 races per season. Since Liberty Media has taken over Formula One, rumours about a race in Miami have been rampant despite setbacks earlier this year and a race in Singapore looks to be on the way also with local government officials keen for the race to go ahead.
