Ericsson unharmed after big impact, rolling car in FP2 crash
The FIA has confirmed that Marcus Ericsson was checked and cleared by medical staff at Monza following a high-speed crash early in the second Formula 1 practice session for the Italian Grand Prix on Friday. Under braking for Turn 1 at the end of the main straight, Ericsson's Sauber C37 car speared into the barrier on the left-hand side of the circuit before his car entered a series of rolls, flipping over at least three times before coming to rest. 5774263478001 CrashTV: Ericsson was able to get out of his car unassisted following the impact that had seen much of the car sustain heavy damage, with both of the front wheels only being retained by their tethers.
