Aitken trusting Renault with 2019 options

Formula 2 and Renault reserve driver Jack Aitken will be leaving it up to his Renault team to decide where he will be competing next season. The Brit is currently sat in tenth in the F2 championship. Having won in Spain in the F2 sprint race, his season hasn't taken off in the way he might have hoped but Aitken will be hoping that a call up to F1 is in the pipeline for him at some point. “Obviously there’s a lot of talk around F1 at the moment with seats changing hands and what not, but I put my faith in Renault,” Aitken said. “F2 is the most likely option at the moment but I don’t know – I’m leaving it to Renault. “If they don’t think...
