Mercedes take conserative tyre choices for Spa and Monza

Mercedes has been the team to take conservative options ahead of the next two races when Formula 1 resumes after the summer break at the Belgian Grand Prix. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit gives the tyres incredible punishment, similar to that of the Silverstone circuit due to the high-speed nature of the layout which flows through the Ardennes forest, the compounds available from Pirelli will the Medium, Soft and Supersoft. Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas and championship leader Lewis Hamilton will take only six sets of the supersoft tyre while also taking four sets of softs and three of the white-marked medium tyres.
