Tost impressed with ‘mature' Gasly
Pierre Gasly's drive to sixth place at the Hungaroring has Franz Tost praising his 'fantastic performance', saying the Frenchman is maturing as a driver. Gasly qualified his STR13 in sixth place during a wet qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. With vastly different conditions present in Sunday's race, he faced a tough task holding onto that position. That, though, is exactly what he did. 'From FP1 we were competitive,' Tost told Autosport. 'Pierre was nearly always within the first 10, and I was quite convinced that we could do a good job, and that we could score points.
