Toro Rosso: James Key has a valid contract with us

Hungarian Grand Prix – Toro Rosso have indicated that James Key's departure to McLaren may not be as straightforward as first thought, issuing a statement on Thursday. McLaren have confirmed that they have signed James Key from Toro Rosso, with the Technical Director swapping from the Italian team to Woking to work in the same role. However, no clear start date has been announced, with Key believed to be taking a period of gardening leave from Toro Rosso before taking up his role at McLaren.
