Dutch GP on the horizon after F1 officials visit Assen

Plans for a Dutch Grand Prix seem to be drawing ever closer as F1 officials will be making the trip to Assen in the coming weeks to assess the viability of the circuit hosting a grand prix in the future. It comes after a surprise visit by FOM figures and the influx of Dutch fans to most European venues to see Max Verstappen. Speaking to Motorsport.com, CEO of the Dutch GP foundation Lee van Dam said he was pleased with the progress that had been made in the efforts to work towards a Dutch Grand Prix.
