Lewis Hamilton sensationally wins the German Grand Prix after starting down in 14th place! Lewis Hamilton wins the German Grand Prix after starting down in 14th with an incredible performance in Hockenheim. Sebastian Vettel crashed out of the race about 50 laps in and had to retire. Vettel’s car locked up and he couldn’t keep control of his Ferrari and crashed into the barrier. Heartbreak for Vettel, but jubilation for Hamilton, who now leads the drivers’ table.
