Gasly: Toro Rosso "don't understand" Hartley crash
Brendon Hartley suffered a major crash in final practice at the British Grand Prix, when his suspension failed under braking for the high-speed Brooklands corner. Hartley’s suspension seemed to snap, sending him into a spin and an eventual heavy impact with the barriers. Thankfully the New Zealander was unhurt, but teammate Pierre Gasly says that his team are unsure what happened to Hartley’s Toro Rosso. Hartley has had a difficult time in his first full season in F1, plagued by bad luck and crashes. This Silverstone incident is the last of an ever-lengthening list of bad luck for Hartley in F1.
